Silmu Films receives development funding for three projects in December 2023
Development grants were given to Animal, directed by Alli Haapasalo and written by Karoliina Lindgren, Paint Like a God, directed by Ulla Heikkilä and written by Heli Tamminen, and The Well, directed by Siiri Halko and written by Halko and Petra Koivula.
Siiri Halko’s The Well receives development funding
Siiri’s project The Well (orig. Kaivo) was among the five projects selected for Kehittämö program by AVEK aimed for filmmakers developing their first feature.
The Well is an absurd drama about foster siblinghood, the construct of a family, and the fear of being replaceable.
